Stipend (Annual): $60,000, benefits and malpractice paid by university, 2 lab coats; microsurgery book of choice paid by program director
Night and Weekend Call: Varies - 2 week days per week (even/odd) and 1 weekend per six weeks (disregard the following per month statement)
Laboratory Research Opportunities (available or required): Microsurgery lab/rats available; anatomy lab available and course annually; flap course annual; cadaver dissection available; full research staff available to assist.
Clinical Research Opportunities: Large clinical research opportunites available; will sponsor ASRM meeting annually.
Prerequisite/requisite training required: ACGME Plastic Surgery Residency/Fellowship only due to mandatory full Texas Medical License needed.

Additional Program Information: Strong focus is on breast reconstruction. All upper extremity microsurgery is done by our resident and 2 hand/micro fellows.
