Reconstructive Challenges is a virtual education event premiering interesting, challenging, complex case microsurgical cases from young microsurgeon members in which they have not yet operated on. The event is intended to be an indications conference to discuss difficult reconstructive challenges. The attendance to the meeting will be limited to a small group on a first come first serve basis to promote discussion. All submissions will be considered and approximately 4-6 cases will be selected for presentation during this event.
This virtual meeting has been formatted for a young microsurgeon to present his/her case and the panelists will share their advice, experience, and potential approaches for the case presented. At the end of the session the audience will vote to select the best submitted case and to identify the best panelist. We will also have future sessions during which presenters may elect to provide an update to the case.
This is a great opportunity for young microsurgeon members to solicit help on a reconstructive challenge and will provide a means for young microsurgeon members to get exposure to the ASRM membership.
If you are interested in submitting a case, please provide a 3-4 slide PowerPoint with a brief, recorded description of the case and its complexity. All submissions should be sent to email@example.com by September 8, 2022.
