Specialty Cases: Replantation; Upper and Lower extremity limb salvage; Ilizarov framing; facial reanimation; microvascular breast reconstruction; venous flaps; head and neck reconstruction after tumor extirpation.
Number of Fellows Accepted per year: 2
Stipend (Annual): $45,000 - $60,000
Night and Weekend Call: Every 4th night and weekend on average.
Laboratory Research Opportunities (available or required): Microsurgical laboratory available.
Clinical Research Opportunities: We would encrourage all fellows to present at at least one national meeting.
Prerequisite/requisite training required: Board eligibility in Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery or General Surgery
Application Deadline: February 01
Interview Period: January 2 to March 31
Additional Program Information: ACGME Accredited Hand Fellowship. Applications are submitted one year and a half before beginning the program. All vessels are hand sewn. We don't use couplers.
