Stipend (Annual): $57,000 stipend. Practice will also cover $1500 for meeting expenses, monthly cell phone bill, state medical license, and DEA license.
Night and Weekend Call: One in six weekend call schedule for inpatient rounding responsibilities.
Laboratory Research Opportunities (available or required): Not required.
Clinical Research Opportunities: Mandatory clinical research project, with support for presentation at national or international meeting(s).
Prerequisite/requisite training required: Must have completed training in plastic surgery.
Additional Program Information: Very busy microsurgical practice with strong emphasis on perforator flaps for autologous breast reconstruction - DIEP, SGAP, IGAP, as well as high volume implant reconstructions. Nationally recognized orthopaedic Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction provides excellent opportunity for lower extremity microsurgery. Craniofacial microsurgical reconstructive opportunities exist as well. Additional opportunities for aesthetic breast and facial cosmetic surgery.
